Women's Recovery Program

The Women's Recovery Program is for women who have a substance abuse problem and have no where left to turn. At the end of their road New Hope Home for Women is an open door. When women walk through the doors they embark on a new journey. This journey will introduce them to the possibilities of a new life in Christ, addiction free and filled with purpose and meaning. It will not be easy, but there are caring counselors to help them each step of the way.

Because addiction is powerful and baffling, the program is long term. Each potential client will be asked to commit to one year in the program. In a safe and healing environment the women are led through addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and Biblical discipleship, all to prepare them for success. The Women's Recovery Program is a free, residential program.

Career Development Program

For a former homeless person or a recovered addict, the thought of conquering the job market can be intimidating. Through the Women's Career Development Program (CDP) each woman is given a new start with confidence through Christ to overcome all obstacles and succeed. The purpose of the CDP is to prepare the residents to meet the challenges they will face after rehabilitation. By providing training and support, New Hope Home for Women offers stability during this period of transition.

The Career Development Program gives the women the opportunity to develop basic job skills. As they learn how to create resumes, conduct a successful interview, and run Microsoft Office programs, the women grow more confident and capable of thriving in the work force. Further, many residents are given the opportunity to enroll in local vocational schools and colleges.

The program is essential in empowering these women to remain addiction free by equipping them with the tools needed for a new start.
