COVID-19 UPDATE FROM WRM PRESIDENT
The health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and those we serve is our highest priority. We have quickly responded to impacts of Covid-19 in both Mission locations and our Thrift Stores, and I want to ensure that those of you who faithfully support and pray for Waterfront Rescue Mission are aware of Waterfront’s response and actions.
We continue to closely monitor guidance from the CDC and local health officials and have implemented safe distancing, health screens, and cleaning protocols. We will continue to rely on expert recommendations and expertise to inform our decisions and are fortunate to have had very few positive cases as a result of proactive approaches. We remain committed to serving guests daily, even when circumstances are challenging.
We thank you for your enduring support and prayers for our most vulnerable neighbors and for those serving them on the front lines at Waterfront Rescue Mission.
Please follow us on Facebook for regular updates.
I must and do believe that our God has all of us and these circumstances in the palm of His hand.
“I believe I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord!” (Psalm 27:13-14)
In Service,
Clay Romano
President
