LEVEL 1 OPPORTUNITIES are for individuals who wish to serve one-time, semi-regularly, or on a regular basis. Level 1 volunteers do not necessarily need to be practicing Christians, but must sign an Honor Statement and agree to honor the Statement of Faith of Waterfront Rescue Mission.

- Guest Services Attendant
- Time Commitment: 2:30pm-4:30pm; Job Summary: An individual is needed to greet and help register men for night lodging at the Mission. This individual would also be trained in Service Point Software.
- Medication Distributor
- Time Commitment: 6:00am-8:00am or 5:00pm-7:00pm; Job Summary: An individual is needed to assist the Chaplains and Program Manager with medicine distribution/call, as well as assisting with clerical aspect of organizing papers, medicine and supplies related to med call.
- Day Resource Center Secretary
- Time Commitment: varies; Job Summary: A secretary is needed to perform administrative duties working in conjunction with another or additional part-time volunteers.
