Waterfront Rescue Mission is home to a client choir known as A Joyful Noise. Jerry Jackson, choir director, was already serving at Waterfront Rescue Mission through our Team 25 Volunteer Force and transitioned into a staff member, serving all of our sites. Since creating the choir in 2011, A Joyful Noise has had some wonderful opportunities to share their gifts and talents with churches, celebrate recovery program graduations, and even performed at the Grand Opening of our Pensacola Men’s Mission. The choir is not only creating beautiful singers, the clients learn how to read music, play instruments and to be a part of something greater than their individual voices. The choir is available to sing at your church, civic group or school. A Joyful Noise is also in need of volunteers and donations of musical instruments. For more information about volunteering, donating or scheduling the choir, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
