RECYCLING & DISTRIBUTION CENTER
When you shop Waterfront Thrift Stores you’re recycling! When you donate your gently-used household goods, furniture and clothing to Waterfront Thrift Stores – you’re recycling!
OUR GOAL
Let nothing go to waste that can be used to give people and items fresh starts and second chances!
By donating to us, you’re giving your unwanted items a second chance to be used and enjoyed by someone else and helping the Mission fund its rescue and recovery program for our community’s homeless, addicted and poor!
OUR RESULTS
Our Recycling & Distribution Center makes every effort to put your donation to its best possible use by distributing a huge assortment of gently-used items for resale to our Thrift Stores located throughout the Florida Panhandle and the Gulf Coast of Alabama. Nothing goes to waste! Even the cardboard boxes that you’ll use to transport your donation will be recycled to help fund our homelessness and addiction recovery ministry at the Waterfront Rescue Mission.
We recycle a variety of items, including clothing, metals, electronic waste, books, purses, shoes, and cardboard. In 2021, we accomplished:
