Warm Weather Resources
Through our Day Services, these individuals can stay cool and receive the following:
- A nutritious meal
- Clean clothing and hygiene products
- Access to restroom facilities
- Access to showers
- Access to a washer and dryer (Pensacola)
- A meeting with a chaplain
- The opportunity to meet with partner organizations
Extreme Weather Protocol
Hurricane Season runs from June 1 to November 30.
In the event of a hurricane or other inclement weather, our Mission doors remain open for overnight and day sheltering.
Men and women are welcome to stay at our Pensacola Mission at no cost. For women with children, we collaborate with community partners to provide overnight shelter accommodations. Similarly, men may stay at our Mobile Mission free of charge, and we work with local partners to secure overnight shelter for women and children.
Waterfront will remain open during the day to serve as a daytime shelter for men, women, and children as long as capacity and conditions allow.
