BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2024 & BEYOND
2024 marks a momentous year for Waterfront Rescue Mission as we commemorate 75 years of delivering hope and healing to our community. Though time has passed, the everlasting message of hope has remained at the forefront of our work.
Through the support of our donors, voLunteers, and community, we're proud to announce the Hope for Her initiative for 2024 and beyond.
MEDICAL RESPITE DORMS
What happens to homeless men and women when they are discharged from the hospital after an illness or injury? Often they are too weak or ill to recover on the streets, but they have nowhere else to go and no one to help them.
We are proud to announce that on the first of September, we will be opening new medical respite dorms in our Pensacola and Mobile missions. These dorms will offer a safe and supportive environment for short-term recovery.
In Pensacola:
We will be opening new 10 beds for men, 7 for women.
In Mobile:
We will be opening 10 new beds for men.
RECOVERY PROGRAM
Waterfront Mission is in the process of looking for land to move our addiction recovery program in Pensacola off-campus. Separating those seeking recovery into a new facility will greatly impact the chances of long-term sobriety for the guests of our recovery program.
If you'd like to donate land to be considered, please contact us using this form.
