Clay Romano, President and CEO, has been with Waterfront Rescue Mission since 2021.

Clay brings years of leadership experience to Waterfront and his passion for leading shines in how he mentors and guides our team of over 275 men and women. He's been serving the community – and Christ – throughout his career.

His journey with Waterfront began during his tenure at Baptist Health Care, where he joined us as a board member. While serving on our board, he learned all the different aspects of managing the Mission. After serving on our board for four years, he joined us as Executive Director and CEO.

Clay is a champion for our cause and eagerly communicates the critical role that Waterfront plays in our community. Through the work of everyone at Waterfront Mission, we are able to provide a range of services to thousands of individuals suffering from hunger, homelessness, and addictions.
