Ronnie’s Story

Ronnie spent 26 years of his life addicted to drugs, but in the last five years, Ronnie’s life has completely changed.

In the last five years, Ronnie has
Graduated from a recovery program.
Been married for four years.
Received custody of his son.
Started his own business.
Taught weekly classes to men going through an addiction recovery program.

“It’s a lifestyle change,” Ronnie said when asked about the last five years of his journey. “You can’t do it for your mom, your sister, your son, your wife, you have to make the decision to get clean for yourself. And when you make that decision, you have to get involved in a church and grow in God. That is how you stay successful.”

Ronnie is a blessing to our men in the LifeBuilder Program, as he currently is voluntarily teaching a class to these men each Friday night. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished in the last five years, and we are so excited to see how God will continue to use him in the years to come.
