Introducing the Waterfront Token
Sometimes people want to help but aren’t sure how. The Waterfront Token gives our community a simple way to help someone in need with compassion and dignity.
When you purchase a token for $10, you’re not just giving — you’re helping open the door to life-changing services. Instead of cash that could be misused, the token can be exchanged for a safe night of shelter at either Waterfront Mission location.
When you purchase a Waterfront Token, you are directly covering the cost of one night of shelter for a guest. Because this is a designated purchase of services, it is not a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
Purchase tokens here and start passing them out today.
Frequently Asked Questions
New guests may be eligible for up to 10 consecutive free nights. A token provides an additional night of shelter after those initial nights have been used.
Providing one night of shelter costs the Mission about $60 per person. The $10 token helps offset that expense while removing the nightly fee barrier for guests once their initial free nights are complete.
A redeemed token gives a guest one free night of stay at either our Pensacola or Mobile Mission, including a bed, meals, restroom and shower access, clothing if needed, and the opportunity to meet with chaplains and staff about next steps and available programs.
Tokens may be redeemed by men and women at our Pensacola Mission. At our Mobile Mission, which currently offers overnight shelter for men only, tokens may be redeemed by male guests.
Tokens can be picked up Monday–Saturday (9 AM–6 PM) at our Pensacola and Mobile Thrift Stores, or mailed directly to you (shipping fees may apply).
